The programme is constructed as a multidisiplinary programme with courses offered from four different academic disciplines: history, economics, law and political science.
2009 Annual Seminar was held at Room 203 Maha Chulalongkorn Building with the opening remarks by the Dean of Graduate School, Associate Prof. Dr. Pornpote Piumsomboon. The MAUES programme provides the new era of thesis defending through the VDO-conference.
Miss Nalina Chaiya successfully defended her thesis on “The EU-ASEAN FTA: Opportunities and Challenges for Thailand” via our own “MAEUS VDO-conference facility” at the MAEUS lecture room on April 28, 2009, with Prof. Carlo Filippini of Bocconi University, Italy, as an external examiner. [...]

Between 28 July 2008 – 9 August 2008 students from MAEUS joined students from Seoul National University for a series of lectures and cultural exchanges. The first week took place at the Graduate School of International Studies in Seoul, and the second week in Bangkok on the campus of Chulalongkorn University.
