
Doctor of Philosophy in European Studies Program
The Doctor of Philosophy in European Studies (PEUS) program is a full-time, research-oriented, international doctoral program, structured on the trimester basis.
The maximum period of study for the doctoral degree is 6 academic years, over the course of which students must earn a total of 48 credits.
Coursework is not required but students who do not have a European Studies background are requested to attend a total of 4 courses provided by the Master of Arts in European Studies (MAEUS) program.
The PEUS program encourages students to partially conduct their research abroad by collaborating with the National Centre for Research on Europe, University of Canterbury, New Zealand.
